Guitar Description
The Stratotelia II-The Outcaster guitar combines some of the best elements of a Stratocaster® and a Telecaster®. The Outcaster is a variation on the original Haywire Stratotelia. As with the original Haywire "Stratotelia" the bridge pick up on this guitar is a Telecaster® pick up. It also has a Haywire custom designed pickguard and a tremolo system instead of the hardtail bridge. No more running to change guitars during a live performance when you have this guitar. With the flip of your 5 way switch and a Tele® pickup in the bridge it can sound like a Strat® or a Tele® ! The Outcaster is available with either alnico or active EMG pickups and whatever else you think you'll need. Just ask.
This guitar allows for a standard six point or two point tremolo bridge instead of the Telecaster® style bridge on the original Stratotelia. You can still choose your headstock.
The Outcaster is available with either alnico or EMG active pickups.
Active EMG pickups are noiseless, internally grounded and each pick up has its own pre-amp to boost the signal before reaching the amp producing even more sustain. The pickups are wired to a five-way switch with an optional tone control wired to the Tele® bridge pickup. The bridge pick up is not available on any other American guitar at this time. The Outcaster is a great guitar for Country, Rock, Blues or Metal. Stainless steel frets are added for ultra long life and silky smooth bends. Play Country and Rock? You need this! You'll love it!
