The SLV is a custom pickup designed for Steve Lukather and is available in this Haywire "Pro Series" guitar. The SLV is an over-wound version of the SAV Pickup and features hidden pole pieces. The over-winding creates an even fatter tone. Add to that a neck of your choice and it's have a perfect guitar for you.

Steve Lukather has been a force in the music industry for many years. Luke, as his friends call him, began playing the guitar at the age of seven. By nine, he was handling blues scales and Hendrix solos then by eleven Luke was already earning money with his talent performing on the party circuit around L.A. His high school band mates formed a group eventually known as TOTO, which sold more than twenty million records worldwide. Steve has also lent his signature sound to countless studio and session projects.
