The Haywire Buy it Now format has been developed in order that you can get a great deal on guitars we have in stock right now that need no custom work or special order parts or personal inlays etc. 

Simply put, in between custom builds for our customers we often have duplicate parts or some extra necks and bodies that require nothing special added to build quality custom guitars with. They are not made to order but they still need a good home.

The quality of any guitar you’ll find here remains the same as any of our standard custom builds ordered as a “special” custom build.

Bodies and necks DO have a shelf life-so we either use them or lose them to moisture, age and humidity. In an effort to use parts while they are fresh and to bring good deals to our customers we build instruments and offer them here in this section from time to time at a greatly discounted price. So, find something you like and take it home!

This Guitar Neck Fingerboard Radius is 12" The fret board, or playing surface of the guitar neck, is usually curved or radiused across its width. The purpose of this radius is to accommodate the natural ergonomic shape of your fingers when they are in playing position. Comfort is certainly a major factor in selecting a fingerboard radius but it is not the only factor. Musical Style... the fingerboard radius must also allow you to play the style of music you prefer.

The neck is a pristine Maple Neck with a great feel and Tone a width of 1-5/8" at the nut and a "C" profile. Made in the U.S.A The sustain of our very comfortable Haywire necks is excellent, with an even and balanced tonal range sure to please your ears. In terms of quality, convenience and long term serviceability is Great!  You can adjust it without taking the neck off. The 12" radius playing surface is very comfortable. Instruments for Professionals

**Natural Solid Alder Finish** Custom beautifully re-finished Telecaster body.....Professional Setup for a working musician who needs accurate and comfortable playability. This is a used Alder American Deluxe refinished Fender Tele body modified with a SMOOTH FRESH SATIN finished with"C" profile '59 Roundback neck. There are a minor surface scratches on the pick guard-very superficial and can't be readily seen. Body is a 9.5 out of 10.

This very low-action guitar plays beautifully.  NEW Vintage Maple Neck features 2 ROLLER String TREES!

Fret have been completely dressed and leveled professionally in The Haywire Custom Shop.

The neck is a Haywire Custom shop neck with a 16" Radius. It's a  Maple 21 fret  neck with a satin nitrocellulose "vintage style"  finish and rolled edges with 6150 Dunlop Frets  w/standard Tele Headstock and Jumbo frets with Ernie Ball regular slinky 9-42 strings. New set of Schaller style tuners added and roller trees!

This Guitar features:

A Treble Bleed modification ADDED that allows you allows you to roll off your volume without losing the highs.

We've added a 220K resistor in parallel with a 471pf capacitor on the volume control. We use them to preserve high end frequencies and improve the taper when rolling back your volume potentiometer.

                       There is a Treble Bleed Circuit Mod on this guitar!

 When you turn your guitar's volume down, you're allowing some of the current to go to ground as opposed to going out to the amp to make sound.  When you do this, the frequencies that leave first are the high ones, which makes the tone seem muddy and thick, without the "edge" on it. 

A way to avoid this is by using what's called a treble bleed circuit.  It's called this because it prevents the treble frequencies from bleeding off.  It allows some of the treble frequencies (the ones we want to keep) to walk around the volume pot to the output, rather than go through it and get lost to ground.

At Haywire we simply install a 220K resistor in parallel with a 471pf capacitor. We use them on our guitars to preserve high end frequencies and improve the taper when rolling back your volume potentiometer. The volume mods are soldered in parallel between the first and second lugs (2 open lugs) of the volume pot.
